This is a sketch of the power plant in Carlsbad. I tried painting digitally on location but it didn't quite workout, so I finished at home from a photo I took.

Mark - this is so bizarre. I'm Scott's Mom. Was just checking up on his stuff and saw your power plant painting. I grew up in Carlsbad! and even went swimming at the beach by that plant!
Great composition. Maybe I can drag Scott down that way sometime.
